Our Approach

Heartsong Cottage School serves as a co-op and supplement for homeschooling families. We use Waldorf education principles and other kindred philosophies to bring developmentally appropriate, holistic education to nurture the body, mind, and heart of each child.

We believe that the development of a child's sense of beauty, wonder, and interest in the world of nature and all humanity is key to becoming a balanced and truly

healthy adult.

Our cozy in-home classroom spaces provide a wholesome environment intended to develop intellectual, artistic, and practical skills, with a focus on imagination and creativity. With a small student to teacher ratio, our teachers are able to maintain harmony and balance the needs of the whole with the needs of the individual.

Classes

Families may use the UFA scholarship
or OpenEd for tuition reimbursement.

1st/2nd Grade

Each day a warm, nutritious meal is served to the children by candlelight. This beloved tradition helps to foster an environment of reverence and connection.
