Families may use the UFA scholarship

1st/2nd Grade

In each class, subjects covered include math, language arts, social studies, science, art, handwork (such as sewing, knitting, crocheting), along with outdoor time.

Classes start Tuesday, September 8, 2026 and end on Thursday, May 27, 2027.  Classes are held Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. This schedule includes up to two, last minute cancellations due to illness or weather.
 

Tuition and Fees

Tuition and fees for the 2026/27 year are outlined below.

Monthly total due by the first of each month (includes tuition & lunch fee):

$240.00

​

School fees due before school starts—registration, t-shirt, materials and supplies:

  • Non-refundable registration fee, $60

  • T-shirt fee, $15

  • Materials fee, $140

  • Total:  $205

Note: This is a one-year commitment. There are no discounts or refunds for vacations, illness, etc. We allow a six-week trial period for all new children after which the rest of the fees are non-refundable. We also create a yearbook at the end of the year and will charge for it at that time. Parents may pay through Venmo.

Sample Daily Schedule for the 1st/2nd grade class

8:45   Arrival and outside play

9:00   Teacher/child greeting 

9:15     Verses, songs and math and language skill review and practice

9:45    Main Lesson

10:15    Creative play and individual project time

10:45   Music, songs, movement, outdoor time

11:30    Lunch

12:00    Art

12:30    Outside exploration

12:45    Departure
